Kitui Governor Julius Malombe seems unrelenting on his fight to have the Kitui Senator Hon. Musila resign as the Wiper party’s chair ahead of next year’s Wiper party nominations.
Malombe seems to gain enormous support from the Members of the Kitui County Assembly who have now backed him up calling for the immediate resignation of the leader who is eyeing Kitui county gubernatorial seat in 2017.
26 MCAs have vowed to push until Musila resigns from his current position in order for Wiper to guarantee free and justifiable party nominations. Although the party has assured contenders of a free and fair party elections it has insisted that the party polls will be conducted by a internal electoral commission something that has not gone well with most members.
The MCA hold that it will be impossible to deliver free and credible nominations if some individuals that have showed interest in the political seat retain their current political positions in the party.
Now they want the Wiper chair David Musila to quit employment and provide a leveled playing ground.
