Youths set to benefit from Kitui – Kibwezi project

Several National Youth Council Kitui County delegates and their Chairman on Monday 17th Oct played host to the CS Youth, gender and public service Secil Kariuki during the NYS Cohorts in Mutomo Kitui South.

Accompanied by the area MP Dr Racheal Nyamai, the CS oversaw over 500 young people get employed into the scheme.

National Youth Council via County Chair Mr Nzomo requested the CS to ensure the 30% tenders on youth are fast tracked. Kitui youths welcomed government’s move to tarmac Kitui – Kibwezi road. They further reiterated the importance of Kitui-Kibwezi road to Kitui people that Hon Musila the Kitui Senator, the area MP and other MPs have always been in fore front in ensuring that this road is on tarmac.

Hon Racheal Kaki, Kitui South MP has promised that Kitui County Youth will be given priority for job opportunities from Kitui-Kibwezi road project. Thanks to the CS and Hon Racheal.
