Kitui Rural MP differs with senatorial aspirant, Wambua on Voter registration drive

New kid on the block in the senatorial seat Mr Enoch Wambua has changed the way people do politics “Voter Registration drive”. His followers shared images of branded vehicles that are being equipped for his voter registration beginning this week across Kitui county.

This was not received positively by a section of Kitui residents who thought this was the wrong approach. Kitui Rural MP Charles Nyamai said that leaders had to do ‘the dirty’ to address voter apathy in the Country.

“The underlying issues on voter apathy can’t be solved by this campaign… Am sorry let’s fold our sleeves and make our hands dirty… and voters will come out.. But as long as we use the voter registration exercise to advance our personal agenda.. Then the now will never come out” Nyamai Wrote on a social media platform
