“I kindly appreciate the positive response the committee organizing tomorrow’s burial of my late mother Alice Kivwea Musila received during yesterday’s harambee at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.” David Musila said.
Musila did First appreciate, President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga who gave a positive gesture though the two did not have time to attend the event. Their contributions arrived safely.
NASA’s running mate and Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka attended the harambee and on behalf of the committee Senator thanked him for his tine and contribution.
Others who participated in the harambee included Nairobi businessman Peter Muthoka, Leader of minority in Parliament Francis Nyenze, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, President Kenyatta’s Sister Kristina Pratt, former Gatanga MP David Murathe and Senator Johnson Muthama .
It was however confirmed that Musila’s mum will be laid to rest today May 20, 2017 at her home, Itoloni, Migwani Sub County, Kitui County.
The body leaves Lee funeral home at 7am and the event officially begins with prayers at Migwani AIC Primary school from 12 noon.
“All are welcome to join us today as we pay our last respects to our departed soul.” Senator Musila added
