Ngilu finally “spills the beans” on why UhuRuto sacked her

Former lands CS Charity Ngilu has sensationally “revealed” that she was shown the door for standing up against the Jubilee government’s maladministration.

Addressing supporters at Migwani centre in Mwingi West, Ms Ngilu yesterday claimed the UhuRuto administration got rid of her for putting it up to task and incessantly demanding that it must make good its promises to Kenyans during the 2013 campaigns.

“After joining President Uhuru’s cabinet, I proposed a five-point agenda to the Head of State – adequate water, food security, quality healthcare, numerous employment opportunities and economic empowerment – which he approved and committed to implement.

“Days turned into weeks, weeks into months but the president was evidently not keen to deliver to Wanjiku prompting me to pile pressure on him. He finally got tired of me as he felt I had become a nag hence my unceremonious removal from the government with allegations that I was involved in corrupt deals.

“He said the promises were mere rhetoric to win him votes. That’s Uhuru Kenyatta for you,” she claimed leaving the crowd in utter shock and disgust.

She said it was unfortunate that Kenyans were still grappling with poor road networks, water scarcity, food shortages, insecurity and high cost of living among other ills while the government was on a borrowing spree but the funds were lining the pockets of a few powerful individuals leading to dismal performance.

Ms Ngilu further regretted having rooted for UhuRuto in 2013 and urged the residents and the entire citizenry to unanimously vote out the Jubilee regime and install the Nasa administration which stands for social, political and economic transformation.

“I believed in President Uhuru. I was optimistic that Uhuru would carry on with Mwai Kibaki’s legacy but his administration turned into a wolf and plundered the economy as Kenyans sunk deep into poverty and huge international debt,” Ngilu moaned.

The Narc Party leader termed whoever supports Jubilee or seeks to vie on its ticket as an enemy of the people and urged Kenyans to deny Jubilee aspirants especially the UhuRuto duo votes come August 8th “so as to help salvage this great nation and restore the lost dignity of every citizen.”
