Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka yesterday watched in disbelief as angry residents of Kitui West heckled his gubernatorial favourite Governor Julius Malombe at Kabati Town during a Wiper rally.
The hostile crowd refused to listen to Malombe’s address after his arch-rival and Narc Party leader Charity Ngilu addressed the crowd drumming up support for her August 8th candidacy as well as for the NASA coalition.
The embattled county boss was forced to cut short his speech and leave the podium after the rowdy crowd turned chaotic and chanted “Mama! Mama…..!” while hoisting her campaign posters in a show of solidarity with the former Land Cabinet Secretary.

When the former vice president took to the podium, he condemned the unfortunate turn of events which momentarily disrupted his rally in his political backyard and urged the locals to shun violent and divisive politics as such could compromise the Kamba unity.
Exuding confidence that the National Super Alliance will trounce the Jubilee Regime come the August 8 General Election, Kalonzo beseeched Kambas to vote for Nasa en masse in order to send Jubilee parking and end its maladministration.
