No election on Saturday, we’ll be mourning – Kisumu Governor


Kisumu Governor, H. E Anyang’ Nyong’o has declared a week of mourning in his county following what he termed as police brutality during the October 26th repeat presidential election.

“I have declared a week of mourning in Kisumu because of the massive bloodshed during this time. Nothing will happen, not even the repeat election “ said Anyang Nyongo as quoted in the Standard.

Nyong’o invited NASA leadership to come to his county and witness the police Brutality that took place during Uhuru’s birthday

“I will invite the National Super Alliance co-leaders to come and see the police brutality that took place in Kisumu. I visited the victims in hospital and counted 29 people injured by police. 26 of them suffered gun shot wounds” Kisumu Governor added.

Kisumu Governor said nothing will happen in his county rather than mourning.

These sentiments were supported by the vocal Millie Odhiambo who said Chebukati should forget having a repeat election on Saturday.
