Raila oath-taking illegal, Wiper insists


Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper Democratic Movement Party have retreated from the planned swearing in of their Orange democratic Party counterpart, Raila Odinga on 12th Dec, 2017.

While speaking on a local morning TV show, Wiper’s deputy party leader Farah Maalim in support to the national vice-chairman Mutula Kilonzo categorically stated that Wiper is no affiliate to the oath-taking plans terming it illegal and a “recipe for chaos”.

“I am somebody who has a legal background and I would like to uphold the law. I have not been part of the process or agreement that finally came into pushing for the swearing-in,”The former House deputy speaker said.

Wiper party further insisted on the same through their officil Twitter Handle noting that they had not endorsed the swearing-in and that NASA aught to use other methods save conducting an oath.

The Makueni County Senator Mutula Kilonzo on the other hand affirmed that the swearing-in is not possible adding that their party leader who doubles as NASA’s deputy president will not be attending the event.
