Press on with the oath, says professional coordinator

29th January 2018: Mwingi professional coordinator Campel Munyambu has called upon NASA leader Raila Odinga not to be intimidated by Jubilee government but go on with taking the oath.

Speaking on Monday in Mwingi, Munyambu said there is no more room for negotiations and that Raila and Kalonzo will be sworn in as the people’s president and not the people’s assembly president as claimed by the government. He said its unfortunate that Kenya is going to have two presidents and that no turning back since NASA gave them all the possible time for negotiations and they played around with it.

We need peace but it’s difficult to get peace without justice. Justice should be done since NASA had clearly won the election but it was rigged out. We are determined and will support our leaders Raila and Kalonzo to the end. Again the swearing in should take place where NASA wants. Why are we being lied to that the public park is undergoing renovation?” wondered Campel.

Another NASA supporter in Mwingi Mwikali Muoka said Raila’s swearing in is a waste of time and public resources as well. Being a strong supporter of Wiper party which dominates Ukambani, she said NASA made citizens go back to elections and when all the people wanted to vote Raila in for the second time, he withdrew discouraging many of his supporters.

I don’t see any reason for the swearing in since I have never heard of any country with two presidents that lives in peace. Sometimes it’s good to focus on the side effects of any action. We are likely to lose so many innocent souls tomorrow since I’m pretty sure the police must act and for sure the police are entitled to serve the government in power so whichever directives they will get, they will act accordingly. This is a recipe for chaos,” added Muoka.

Police boss in Nairobi has insisted that Uhuru park will be a no go zone and many National leaders have warned on the swearing in as well.
