Needy students in Kangundo to benefit from bursary.


Over 2500 bright, needy students from Kangundo sub county in Machakos county will be benefit from Constituency Development Fund bursary kit in the next one month.


Kangundo MP Fabian Muli while addressing the press in his offices on Thursday after awarding the first batch of over 20 students with bursary, said he will do his best on improving education standards in the sub-county.


Muli said he is commited to ensure no needy kid will miss school because of fees promising to discharge his promises to his people.


“Every child deserves to be in school. Kangundo children won’t miss classes as long as I’m their MP,” said Muli.


He lauded the former Cabinet Secretary for Education Fred Matiang’i for the education reforms and urged all education stakeholders to embrace them.


The vetting selection panel was chaired by the sub-county’s children officer Margaret Kasulya, Kakuyuni Assistant County Commissioner David Tegutwa among others.
