supremacy battle between Ngilu and Mwingi central Mp intensify

Mwingi central MP, Hon Gideon Mulyungi addressing media in Mwingi

Supremacy battle between Kitui governor Charity Kaluki Ngilu and Mwingi central MP Dr Gideon Mulyungi has intensified day after a group of youths from Mwingi disrupted an event at Musila gardens where the governor was set to launch training of bodaboda riders, forcing her to postpone the event.

Yesterday the legislator toured Mwingi town and held a public rally at Musila gardens, where he warned the Wiper Party to be more cautious with governor Ngilu who was elected on her NARC party ticket beating former governor Dr Julius Malombe of Wiper, claiming that Madam Ngilu has never cut ties with Jubilee.

Dr Mulyungi said that since the meeting aimed at strengthening Kamba unity where  governor Ngilu promised to support Wiper, she has continued to associate herself with people who were key supporters of the president and his deputy in the last general election, thus casting doubt in her motives.

The legislator also castigated governor Ngilu for not inviting him when launching key projects in his constituency and instead inviting his close opponents, who supported Jubilee in the last general election.

He warned Ngilu against ever setting foot in his constituency without informing him, as the kind of disrespect she has continued to show him won’t be tolerated by his electorate.
