Wiper leader Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka Wednesday, 6 May 2018 visited retired Catholic Archbishop Ndingi Mwana a’Nzeki at his home.
Musyoka was accompanied by Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua, Machakos Woman Representative Joyce Kamene and Mwingi West Member of Parliament Charles Nguna.
The leaders arrived at Ndingi’s home Wednesday morning and spent some hours with Nzeki who is now close to 90 years old.
They prayed together as a team, presented him with gifts shared breakfast with him.
The clergyman couldn’t sustain long conversations but he occasionally smiled at the visitors, the caregivers saying this showed he was happy that they visited.
Ndingi thanked the Nasa principal in his short statement.
“It was great. We feel blessed that we got the chance to spend time with His Eminence the Archbishop. He was a crusader of justice in this country”, Kalonzo said.
“I am so grateful, particularly that the Catholic Church is taking this great care of the Archbishop in his retirement. He looks amazingly happy and healthy. This is great.” Musyoka added.
Retired Archbishop Sulumeti came later to join the politicians.
Kalonzo Musyoka also also visited Retired Archbishop John Njenga who in his home, prayed and presented gifts.
