Ukambani Jubilee loyalists decries over negligence by the government

Former Ukambani legislators leb by the former Kibwezi MP Hon. Kalembe Ndile pleaded to President H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy H.E William Samoei Ruto for consideration to be appointed to head various state corporations following the success of their journey to market the unsung Jubilee Party in the vote rich region. Speaking on Saturday, 23rd June, 2018 at Nguumo Boys in Kibwezi West constituency during the burial of Mzee Ndile Nguluku, the father to Hon. Kalembe Ndile, they expressed their expectations from the national government.

Following dissolution of his TIP TIP party during the mega Jubilee merger in 2017 that brought together at least 14 political parties, Kalembe shifted his political turf from Makueni to Machakos County.He vied for Mavoko parliamentary seat in Machakos on Jubilee ticket but lost to the former Mavoko Municipality Mayor Hon. Patrick Makau.

The immediate former Mbooni MP Hon. Kisoi Munyao said that they underwent difficult time while marketing Jubilee Party in an hostile environment that was dominated by opposition Alliance, NASA led by Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga and Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, the political Ukambani kingpin.Munyao highlighted few setbacks they faced in their journey to market unsung Jubilee party in the three adjacent Ukambani Counties.

Hon. Grace Mwewa, former KANU nominated MP who also vied for Makueni County Women Rep. seat in 2017 polls but lost to the incumbent Hon. Rose Museo Mumo initiated the plea to Jubilee Government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto not to dump faithful Jubilee Party aspirants who lost during the last August 8th, 2017 general elections for their commitment to sell the alliance manifesto in Kitui, Masaku and Makueni counties.

Vocal Joe Mutambu who served as Mwingi Central law maker in Kitui County between 2013-2017 also reinstated remarks by Kisoi.Hon. Mutambu added that their committed joint efforts to publicize the party in Ukambani is worth being appointed to head various state departments.

Former Mwala MP who also served as Water Cabinet Minister Hon. John Mutua Katuku joined hands in pleading to Kenyatta not to abandon Jubilee losers who remained faithful throughout the electioneering process in the past elections.Mutua contested for Machakos Senatorial seat but was floored by Wiper’s Senator Kabaka.

The former Kibwezi MP and Kibwezi East Jubilee aspirant Professor Philip Kyalo Kaloki who lost to the incumbent Hon. Jessica Mbalu Kioko was early this year appointed to head the KMTC Board in Kenya.
