Where does the money allocated to hospitals disappear to, Mwingi North Mp

Mwingi North member of parliament Eng Paul Nzengu has lamented over the poor state of Migwani hospital wondering where the money allocated to equip hospitals disappears to.

Addressing mourners at Kaliluni village in Migwani ward of Mwingi west during Samson Kanyolo, his brother in law’s burial, Malili said that most hospitals within the county lack major equipment which accelerated his brother in law’s death.

‘When i took my brother to Migwani hospital I though he would be fully attended to, unfortunately, the hospital lacked CT- scan machines which forced us to refer him to Thika level v hospital,’ the sad Engineer narrated.

“If the money allocated to these heath facilities is not reflected inside the hospital inform of equipment to save lives then where does the money disappear to?'” Mwingi North Mp asked.

However, Engineer Nzengu complained that the amount, Ksh.50 million allocated to Migwani hospital is little compared to the kind of machines needed there.

‘ Migwani hospital has the infrastructure but machines are needed to better this facility,’ he pointed out

Mp Nzengu called upon the county and national government to make sure Universal Healthcare gets to every mwananchi to avert cases of losing lives like what happened to his brother.

Malili finally urged all elected leaders who are still politicking to concentrate on serving their residents as their work will determine whether they will serve a second term or not.
