Leaders in Machakos county have come out to condemn the brutal attack on five people on Tuesday night at Masii, Mwala sub county of Machakos county.
Governor Alfred Mutua on Wednesday said that the police should up their game and find the perpetrators of the crime.
Mutua said that the police should ensure security is enhanced and residents don’t have to live in fear.
“We can’t have our people fearing for their lives the police got to do something, unfortunate incidents have been happening and all these can be dealt with through alertness and vigilance among all stakeholders”, Said Mutua.
Governor Mutua urged residents to cooperate with security agents to ensure peace and tranquility prevails.
Mwala member of Parliament Vincent Musau who addresed Masii residents said that the perpetrators of the attack should be hunted down and brought to book.
He requested the security officers to up security patrols in order to curb the instances of insecurity in their areas of jurisdiction and bring to book all the suspects associated with the increasing in the area.
On Tuesday night armed robbers attacked a bar in Masii and stole valuables after seriously injuring five people.
