Two years ago former Machakos women representative Susan Musyoka landed in trouble over her remarks.

In Machakos Musyoka had told president Uhuru Kenyatta to fight corruption and if he can’t he either resigns or commits suicide.

Her remarks sparked a national discussion on treason charge as the country was nearing elections.

A man hunt was launched for her arrest but she surrendered herself to tue courts before the police nabbed her.

She appeared in court after she was asked to record a statement over her remarks.

Musyoka appeared before a magistrate court in Machakos after making utterances bordering on treason.

Her lawyer lawyer asked the court to grant her anticipatory bail since there was a likelihood she will be arrested.

The Women rep said she received a call from the County Commander Jacinta Wesonga asking her to record a statement on utterances she made last week.

However her lawyer Harun Ndubi claimed that his client was unwell and in no position to record a statement.

As she appeared in court leaders from the Wiper party filled the court to stand in solidaritu with their colleague.

The court granted the MP prders stopping the police from arresting her.
