Makueni police arrest three people accused of murdering a primary teacher

Makueni police have laid their hands on three suspects accused of murdering a teacher in Nzeveni village mbooni sub county of Makueni county.

The trio are suspected in connection to the murder of Kitoo primary teacher were smoked out of their hiding place in Kithungo after a tip off from the members of the public.

According to Mathew Gwiyo area police boss is that the villagers found several items belonging to the suspects at the murder scene.

Body of the 36 year old teacher who went missing after a drinking spree on Saturday night was found lying in a coffe plantation on Sunday last week.

The body was discovered by children who were grazing wherr the OCPD noted that the body had no physical injuries.

The teacher has been spotted at a local bar in Nthungoni market before he went missing.

The body has been moved to Mbooni sub-county hospital mortuary for preservation awaiting postmortem.

The suspects who are being held at Mbooni police station will be arraigned in court once investigations are over.
