Kalonzo faults law makers for accepting bribe over sugar report

Wiper party leader H. E Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has shot at members of parliament for allegedly being ‘bought’ to shoot down the contraband sugar report.

On Saturday wiperpparty leader said that its despicable that the legislators think about their stomach at the expense of suffering kenyans.

That’s so selfish of you,choosing to be selfish instead of serving the common mwananchi who elected you“, Said Kalonzo.

He observed that the legislators were given between sh.20,000 and sh.30,000 to ensure the report hits a dead end.
Kalonzo spoke at the burial of former PS Sammy Mbova in Makindu of Makueni county.

He noted that the law maker’s move will cause death of sugar milling companies..
Our youths will be rendered jobless just because of the country’s greedy lawmakers,sugar milling companies are crumbling”, He said.

He pledged his full support to president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy in realising the big four agendas for tge benefit of tge people.

As the  Wiper party we are behind the government,in its endavour to develop the country time for politics is over“, He added

He however said that supporting the government doesn’t mean they have joined it.

In attendance were leaders like Machakos governor Dr.Alfred Mutua,Former Kitui senator David Musila among other leaders.
