Monica Juma represents interests of Murang’a people, Joe Mutambu

Ukambani Politicians and residents of Nuu ward on Saturday turned a blind eye on a homecoming party spearheaded by Foreign Affairs Cs Monica Juma to celebrate her cabinet appointment.

Among the 25 elected Ukambani Members of parliament and Senators none of them attended the ceremony which was held at Nuu Secondary school.
The only elected Jubilee party politician present was Nuu MCA, Alex Musili who is popularly known as Kawaya with the absence of the three Ukambani Jubilee elected Members of national assembly raising eye brows.
According to the immediate former Mwingi Central Mp Joe Mutambu, the low turn up of residents to the previously hyped event clearly  indicated dissatisfaction of Cs Monica Juma representing Kamba community in the cabinet.
‘With all due respect, Monica is married in Muranga this implying that her political interests is for the Muranga people and not the Akamba, ‘ Joe clarified.
However the vocal former Mp added that the Kamba community needs to be fully represented insisting that Monica Juma does not represent the Akamba community.
‘ Regional balance should be considered while appointing Cabinet Secretaries for as at now Ukambani is not represented in the cabinet’, Mutambu stated.
