I won’t be intimidated, Ruto slams critics after opinion poll

Deputy president William Ruto has said that he won’t be intimidated by his political nemesis efforts to bring him down.

Speaking in Kirinyaga county on Thursday Ruto said that his critics are jealous because they can’t match his development record.

He bitterly condemned the survey released by Ipsos synovate company ranking him top of most corrupt leaders.

He said that the findings and the opinion poll was authored by his competitors.

“We won’t be intimidated by fake news and fake opinion polls that our political enemies have come up with just because they can’t match our development record”, Said Ruto.

He urged elected leaders to quit politicking and intead focus on delivering to the electorates the promises they made during campaigns.

He said that at the end of it all every leader will be weighed by his service to the people who elected him.

“After the opinion polls,headlines and all the claims we will stand in the arena and be weighed according to how we discharged our duties nothing more nothing less,every leader should know why he or she was elected and do so”, He said.

Kirinyaga county governor Ann Waiguru who was with hi blasted her critics for peddling lies about her.

She said that she will stand by Ruto even in the next general elections.
