‘Call girl’ found dead at Mlolongo


A middle-aged lady alleged to be a call girl was found lifeless in a lodging at Mlolongo town, Machakos County.

Esther Kariuki’s dead body was found at Arusha Guesthouse on Saturday morning.

Confirming the incident, Mlolongo chief Peter Ndunda advised the commercial sex workers in that area to operate with caution calling upon them to ensure they know their clients well before engaging in the business.

“Ensure you Know Your Clients Well. It’s good to know well the man you’re entering a ‘guests room’ with. Who is he? Where is he from?” he cautioned.

Addressing the press a day after the incident, the chief said the deceased who was aged between 25-30 years was spotted entering the lodge with an unknown man on Friday evening and was later found dead on Saturday morning inside the same room.

He added that the deceased however had no physical injuries.
Ndunda also blamed the guest house owners saying that they ought to put strict security measures in their premises ensuring those accessing them can be easily identified incase such an incident occur.

“Be taking their National Identification cards to know who entered your premises and at what time,” Ndunda said.

The body was taken to the Nairobi’s City mortuary as police launch investigation to manhunt the culprit.

According to the chief and the area residents such cases are common in this town which is popular for being a den for commercial sex workers.
