Over 20 Kitui Mcas yesterday demanded Governor to deliver her promises to residents equitably without favoring wards around Kitui central constituency.
The Mcas, who had accompanied Mwingi central MP Gideon Mulyungi while he issued bursaries to over 13,000 learners across his constituency, said they are sick and tired of a regime full of lies, misplaced priorities and that has sidelined a part of the county.
Led by their Majority leader, Peter Kilonzo the Mcas urged Governor Ngilu to include all Kitui residents in her developments.
Migwani Mca, Phillip Nguli complained that Mwingi has not seen development worth over Ksh. 50 million and will not relent until residents are equally treated. His counterpart from Nguutani said hospitals have no drugs despite residents registering for Kitui County Health Insurance Cover.
However, the peaceful occasion changed course when the host Mca, Mary Phillip while giving her speech talked of supporting the Governor, a topic the present Mcas were against including the residents. This saw some youths who could no longer stomach Governor praises snatching her the microphone nearly beating her up.
