On his part, KENHA Board of Directors Chairman Eng. Mwongera said families affected by the Kibwezi-Kitui road construction will be compensated as they pave way for road construction.

He noted valuers had identified the persons to be compensated saying there were delays in construction in some parts due to slow pace of land adjudication on the side of land owners at the site.

Mwongera said the government will urgently reimburse the affected families to avoid unnecessary delays since work had already begun.
