Mwingi Central member of national assembly, Gideon Mulyungi has doubted HE President Uhuru Kenyatta’s fight against corruption saying he seem to have lost the battle.

Speaking at Kalanga Secondary school within Nguni ward, Mwingi East sub county in Kitui County where he was spearheading a fund drive for completion of major facilities in the school, Mulyungi told President Uhuru if he has not lost the graft battle, then he should immediately deal with the root cause of corruption specifically in the ministry of Treasury, emphasising Henry Rotich to be sacked in relation to the recent 21billion shillings dam scandal.

The first term MP termed the delay in release of CDF as a result of mega theft by cartels adding Ksh.21 billion is enough to allocate to constituencies for bursury disbursement among other allocations thus reducing fund drives within schools.

According to the legislator, the dam saga resembles Goldenberg scandal insisting in project management, mobilization is done for a maximum period of one month not 14 months, condemning careless issuance of money.
