Barely two months after his public oath, a political twist that restored peace and unity to the ethnic integrated Kenyans became the order of the day.The pictures of the duo shaking their hands guaranteed the Kenyans peace, love and unity as is in the Nyayo Philosophy.In their lengthy discussion, the two formulated restorative measures including the establishment of a taskforce branded Building Bridges Initiative that seeks to bridge the gap between the citizens countrywide.
On Saturday 9th March, 2019 the country marked the first anniversary in a style through the incorporating fete in Nairobi.Attending the ceremony were Rail a Odinga, his running mate and Wiper Party leader Hon. Raila Odinga, Kenya has been at peace signified by the mass inflow of foreign tourists and investors.The two national leaders sought to restore the interethnic integration among the segmented Kenyans.
Prior to the lengthy dialogue between the two dignitaries at President Kenyatta’s office, majority of the Kenyans especially in Odinga’s backyard constantly engaged in protests to express their dissatisfaction following the August 2017 polls.
