The member states of the East African Community (E.A.C) particularly Kenya have joyfully welcomed the appointment of Hon. Kennedy Musyoka Kalonzo to the position of EAC representative to the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
He has been tasked to establish and maintain healthy diplomatic relations between the two multinational organizations.
Under his new role, Musyoka will serve as the Coordinator between IHRC and the East African Nations, where he has been mandated to meet the national governments from the EAC member states to discuss over the various matters related to the diplomatic relations between IHRC and the African Region.
Kennedy Musyoka, the son of the former Vice President Hon. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka was appointed as Kenyan MP to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) among others by the government of Kenya a year ago.
Hon. Kennedy Musyoka has been appointed to assist IHRC in strengthen its ties with the East African Region for mutual benefits between the two organs.
The appointment is particularly seeking to foster development and bilateral relations between the two multinationals through integrated mutual cooperation.
