The former Nairobi City County Women Rep who is now the Gender Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Dr Rachel Shebesh has landed into tempting moments after a section of women parliamentarians led by the nominated Senator Hon. Milicent Omanga who have directed their sword of bitter remarks to her ready to shoot.
The women MPs have send out a stern warning to the CAS for Gender in the ministry of Gender and Youths Dr. Recho Shebesh over alleged regional discrimination while distributing the resources.
Speaking while addressing the Malindi residents ,Omanga angrily slammed the CAS for her unpleasing work formula since her appointment to the position stating clearly that there has been discrimination while distributing the sanitary towels along ethnic lines with some parts being totally neglected yet universal taxation is imposed to all people .
Her words were backed by Isiolo Women Rep Hon. Rehema Jaldesa who said that as the members of Kenya Women Parliamentarians (KEWOPA) they have put the CAS on notice. She claimed that Dr Shebesh has been allocating the resources to specific zones of her interest while neglecting some parts of Kenya.
The two legislators called the CAS to work towards uniting the women rather than dividing them apart on basis of tribal lines an act they termed to be taking the country backwards.
