Ruto visits Laboso in India

Ex Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has visited the current Bomet, Governor Hon. Joyce Laboso who is India for treatment.

Ruto together with Chepalungu MP Gideon Koskei who had accompanied him to India shared a light moment with the county boss as they wished her speedy recovery following her ailment.

Addressing the press, Ruto urged Kenyans to pray for Laboso to recover quickly so that she can come back to Kenya and continue with her work in Bomet.

“Dr Laboso requires everyone’s support and prayers at this time. We are going to offer much needed moral support. We wish her a quick recovery,” he said.

Her deputy, Mr Hillary Barchok has also travelled to India to check on her.

Other leaders who have travelled to India to check on the hailing Governor since she got admitted abroad are Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Kenya’s High Commissioner to the UK Manoah Esipisu, Chief Justice David Maraga and his wife Yucabeth, Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony and Konoin MP Brighton Yegon.

Laboso was recently transferred to India from a London hospital for further treatment.

According to the Bomet County government report, Laboso is responding positively to treatment and could soon be discharged.

Isaac Ruto despite confirming to be eyeing the seat come 2022 has said he is ready to stand with Laboso during this moment of ailment.
