Kitui Governor H.E Charity Kaluki Ngilu has been picked among the key guests to address the forthcoming national women convention that is set to deeply interrogate the role played by women in societal development specifically in food and nutrition sector .
The meeting has scheduled to kick off early Tuesday at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, (JKUAT) in Juja, Kiambu County.
The main agenda for the conference has been carved out from the involvement share of women in socio-economic community development, the Role of Women and Food Security and Nutrition.
The forum is set to pave way for development through generation of new ideas and opening up new channels that can be adopted to empower women’s role food provision and nutrition.
The forum will at length give the Kenyan women a room to share their opinions face to face on how to better the earlier set ideas on society transformation by women.
The national women forum has been branded Embrace Women Building Bridges for Kenya and will be held for the first time in Kenya.
The forum has been organized through partnership between JKUAT, NGAAF Kiambu County and Haki Za Akina Mama that seeks to voice out the issues pressing female gender.
The talk shall also be attended by Kirinyaga County Governor H.E Anne Waiguru, C.S Peter Munya among other invited guests.
