Kitui’s Nguna cup pays off
Under the patronage of Mwingi West MP, Hon Charles Nguna, Nguna cup has paid off.
Through a tweet seen by KituiOnline Tusker FC, 11 times Kenyan premier League Champions confirmed promotion of Nguna cup’s product from development to First team, a 3 years contract.
We would like to confirm the promotion of Mario Kakai and Eric Zakayo from our Development side Tusker Youth FC. to the First Team.

Born, bred and football trained in Kitui County, Zakayo joined Tusker in 2017 through a sports program by Mwingi West Member of Parliament, Hon Charles Nguna.
We congratulate the Mwingi West legislator and the young man for such a feat.
Our leaders should not just organize tournaments for the sake, if they need to help these young and talented boys and girls Hon Nguna should be the best case study, perhaps it can be the opportunity for them.
“Having a county league that provides an opportunity to nurture talented young men who in future may participate in national games makes me contended ,” said Nguna.
Nguna cup was Started 16 years ago by Now the Mwingi West MP. This was after clearing his high school.
The cup started with only 4 teams: Kiio, Kairungu, kwa munyanzu and Winzyeei.
The league has tremendously improved and grown to over 100 teams beyond Mwingi west constituency,
