Miguna mourns Mugabe, calls him a hero

A day after the former Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe died; leaders from all over the world are mourning him.

Even after Britain decided not to mourn him, former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has mourned the former president terming him as a hero.

In a statement on his official twitter account, Miguna has celebrated Mugabe for working hard during his days to liberate Africa.

Miguna maintains that despite other leaders supporting Apartheid, Mugabe was among the few African leaders who opposed the course and supported ANC to liberating South Africa.

Robert Mugabe gave concrete support to revolutionary struggles in Africa. He supported ANC’s Umkhonto we Sizwe, collaborated with MPLA’s Agostinho Neto and MLF’s Samora Moisés Machel. Despite the horrendous mistakes he made, Mugabe remains an African hero.”, Miguna posted.

The former Zimbabwe president died at the age of 95 while receiving treatment in a hospital at Singapore.
