Equity bank on Thursday launched its new international look, aiming to take its service to the global market targeting African countries.
A new logo with an international feel was also launched to conform to the international standards.
In Mwingi the event was held early today in the morning, with the bank inviting her customer for a celebration to unveil the new look and also cut a cake to mark a new beginning for the bag as they celebrate 35 years of existence.
The branch Manager Phillip Nthumo assured customers of improved service also indicating that the bank is aiming to digitize all its operations by 2020.
“The plan of Equity bank is to go digital by the year 2024 to be able to serve people across the country and internationally“said Nthumo.
Mr. Nthumo further said that since equity bank started operating in Mwingi, the number of its new customer had continued to gradually grow.
“Here in Mwingi we have been in service since 2007 and we thank our customers for coming to celebrate with others”added Nthumo.
Customer who had attended the event attested to the quality services being offered by the bank, promising to continue banking with them.
