KMTC Campus holds free medical camp, treats hundreds of residents

KMTC Nyahururu Campus treated more than 1000 residents of Nyahururu and Nyandarua at a free medical camp on Saturday 5th October 2019.

Health CS Madam Sicily Kariuki led the College management, staff and students to the camp, in which various ailments were treated, and others referred to other health facilities.

Residents came walking while others were wheeled on motor bikes and wheel chairs to the venue.

The CS also thanked KMTCs Nyandarua, Nyahururu and Nakuru students who are providing support during the medical camp currently ongoing at the Manunga Health Centre in Kipipiri Constituency

KMTC Board Chairman, Prof. Philip Kaloki praised the campus for putting the interest of the residents, and mobilizing partners to offer the free treatment.

Prof. Kaloki further thanked the CS for availing funds for the establishment of two additional Campuses in Nyandarua County to supplement the one already in existence at Ol Kalou.

CS handed over a brand new 52 seater bus to excited staff & students of KMTC Nyandarua. She noted that the new bus would enhance training by ensuring students get to the various health facilities in the County for hands on experience.
