Mwingi Central subcounty police commander,Peter Mutuma has disclosed the security team is ready to provide maximum security during end of year exams that will soon kick off.
Speaking in Mwingi town today, the police boss stated that every school will have a police officer to provide security to the school and environs.
“During the national exercise, security will be beefed up with officers from CIPU,KFS,KWS,KPS,Prison officers among others,”said Mutuma.
However, the OCPD urged parents to be on the lookout during this period of pounding rains which has left several dead.
“Parents should escort their children to school during this season where several persons have lost lives following the heavy downpour,” advised Mutuma.
However, club owners and road show caravans have been called upon to minimize their loud music to create a conducive environment for the candidates.
