Mwingi west MP, Charles Nguna has urged locals to report any domestic violence cases to nearest security officers immediately.
Nguna stated that cases of lovers killing one another have been on the rise and any violence should be reported immediately to curb number of lives lost.
Nguna however urged the government to move in speed and implement the bill on establishing counseling centers in health centers passed by the national assembly.
The legislator stated that the recent happening of a woman and her two children being allegedly killed by her husband was regretful and no one should take anyone’s life regardless of the situation at hand.
Nguna further pleaded with men/women to speak their marital frustrations to people who can be helpful as such can reduce cases of killings out of depression in the country.
The legislator was speaking at Migwani market where he issued Uwezo funds cheques worth ksh10 million to different self help groups across the constituency.
