Sammy Muthui, the 29-year-old teacher who met his cruel death through the hands of Alshabab on Monday morning told his elder brother, his last words.
Victor Mutinda recalling the last moments they shared before Sammy returned to Garissa, said that the deceased had wanted him and the rest of the family to stay united till he returned in April during the holidays, something that has only remained a dream.
“My younger brother always wanted us to remain united always,” recalled Victor who spend most of his time with his younger brother during the December holidays
Mutinda sadly said that his brother was his only hope of bettering his life as he had promised to buy a motorbike for him to start transport business.
“I feel like all my hope is lost for I depended on him to better my life,” cried out Victor
Victor also urged the government to quickly act and curb the rising insecurity where numerous numbers of lives have been lost following such terrifying attacks.
