Mwingi-Bright vulnerable girl reports to form one courtesy of a sponsor


Few days after the story of a vulnerable Nuu girl was highlighted for lack of school fees, a sponsor has showed up to see the girl achieve her dreams.

Rachael Muthui, a pupil from Kyandii primary school from Miangeni area topped her class scoring 325 out of 500 marks in last year’s KCPE exam.

Rachael, a partial orphan who got most of support from her teachers dreams of becoming a top most lawyer.

The bright girl was set to join Viulya Girls Secondary School but has been at home owing to poor living standards.

Esther Mworia, JKUAT Academic Registrar came to her aid after watching the story on a local television.

Esther promised to see Rachael through education up to University level.

The well-wisher also promised to erect a better house for the family of Rachel and her other 10 siblings.

Rachael who comes from a very poverty-stricken home, living in one single mud walled room thanked her God for opening doors for her.
