Kitui County Governor, H.E Charity Ngilu today signed the condolence book for the late President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi.
She Eulogized Moi as an astute leader and one who embraced divergent views at the helm of the country’s top seat.
Remembering the 1998 American Embassy bombing, she said President Moi got them by surprise by inviting the then opposition leadership to statehouse, to accompany him to condole with those affected.
Signing the book, paves way for everyone who would like to pen down their condolences to the Moi family, and will be done at the County Commissioner’s office.
Also in attendance were Deputy Governor Dr. Wathe Nzau, County Commissioner John Odengo, Members of the Kitui County executive committee, and National Government Administration officers.
