The Kitui County government through governor Charity Ngilu has received a donation of 200 tanks from the Kenya Association of Manufacturers(KAM). The donation that was receives by governor Ngilu on Friday 25, is meant to help in the fight against the corona virus pandemic.
Speaking in Kitui town during the official handover of the tanks, Governor Ngilu noted that the contribution will supplement Kitui county’s efforts of distributing water storage tanks in the county.
“Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM)has donated 200 water tanks to Kitui County to combat the COVID 19 pandemic. The contribution will supplement Kitui county’s efforts of distributing water storage tanks to the different public spaces in aid of hand washing during the pandemic. This is truly a much needed boost during this hour of need.
The association’s Manager in Charge of Devolution Samuel Mulu Mutisya delivered the donation to support the county government’s efforts in the fight against the deadly virus.
