Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua has ordered Gov. Ngilu to desist from dragging the name of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to the series of in-fights experienced within her weak county government. He termed the ongoing divisions between the County Executive and the County Assembly as self inflicted woes where the county chief has to bear back the shock.
In a letter seen by KO,Wambua has revealed that he’s aware of those shielding Madam Ngilu against investigations over corrupt charges that has worsened her administration. He hinted that the report adopted by the County Assembly last year about the Kitui Finance Offices fire outbreak recommended that Ngilu should be investigated over its cause.
Wambua added that the Governor should instead make an immediate public apology to the residents who elected her to govern them for the derailed delivery of services as she had pledged on assumption into the gubernatorial office.
Noting the imprudent use of the county’s endowed vast resources, the legislator said that resignation is the only way Gov. Ngilu can do this time to save the millions of the suffering Kitui residents.
