Kitui County receives 100 reclining beds from local manufactures

The Kitui county ministry of Health and Sanitation has today received 100 reclining beds at the Kitui County Referral Hospital.

Speaking while receiving the reclining beds, the county director in the ministry Dr Allan Owino said this is a great boost to the residents of Kitui county because the beds received there are going to enhance health service delivery especially to patients who are going to be admitted.

“This 100 beds we have received today, it’s a great milestone in the ministry because the beds will ensure that patients who are going to be admitted in our facilities get the best health services,” said Dr Owino.

The director also added that the beds will be distributed to various hospitals and health facilities across the county.

Mr Emmanuel Munyao who is the supplier and hails from Kitui South, thanked the administration of Kitui county for trusting the local people for that noble work.

Mr Munyao added that this task of making the beds local has benefitted more than 30youths within the Ikutha Ward and also ensured that there is circulation of money within the same area.
