Makindu Trauma Centre gets a boost from the county government.


Makindu Trauma Centre will now serve accident victims better after receiving a boost from the county government of Makueni, a CT scan system.

The system which was delivered today will help in diagnosing extent of injuries sustained mainly from road accidents for proper management and treatment, according to Dr Patrick Musyoki, the chief officer at the county’s department of Health.

Makindu Trauma Centre serves victims of road accidents along Mombasa-Nairobi highway and patients from as far as Kajiado, Taita Taveta, Kitui and Machakos counties.

Makindu Hospital is the second hospital to have a CT scan in Makueni County after Makueni County Referall Hospital.
