MCAs kick off one-week ESAMI backed training

The Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) has partnered with the County Assembly of Kitui in an intensive one-week training and capacity building exercise for the Members of Second County Assembly. The programme which enters its second day today kicked off yesterday at Sai Rock Hotel, Mombasa.

While officially opening the training Speaker George Ndotto urged the MCAs to take keen interest on the training which he said was key in bolstering the capacity in furtherance of their legislative, representative and oversights roles.

Key among the topics discussed so far include leadership and governance today, public policy and Management milestones, Public administration and public management strategies, governance and social accountability.
