Looks like the Ukambani leadership needs a handshake deal too, don’t you think?
In the recently concluded Kitise by-election,it’s safe to say that Kalonzo took the day as his own endorsed candindate one Sebastian Muli won the hotly contested seat.
Then again can we say it was hotly contested considering the candidate who came second only got a measly 854 votes against Muli’s 3865 votes. However, it’s safe to note that the candidate who came second had been endorsed by Governor Kivutha Kibwana.
Could it be that the Makueni electorate was trying to punish Kibwana for supporting BBI or were they simply saying that the only crow they can listen to is Kalonzo’s?
As of now we can only wait to see what happens at Machakos. Only then shall we be able to tell a little on the what gives.
