Kitui County Bar and Club Owners Association Coordinator urges President Uhuru to open the LeisureAmenities

Mr. Alfred Wendi, the association’s co-ordinator has pleaded with President Uhuru to open clubs and bars when he addresses the Nation during his forth-coming monthly Covid-19 address this week.

Wendi appreciated the continued maintenance of social distance and adherence to Covid-19 in clubs and bars by waiters and customers and owners during the government allowed opening hours but reiterated on the need of opening the lockdown for clubs and bars for lucrative business in oder to avoid the continued loss of job by youth and women, loss of business by the owners and the deteriorating economy.”

What’s important, the huge loss by bars, clubs and other businesses, or the public gatherings by politicians that don’t adhere to the Covid-19 pandemic health and regulations.” Said Wendi

The meeting and the subsequent press conference was attended by Chair of Kitui County Bar Owners Association James Mbuvi.
