Ngilu urges Kenya Association of Manufacturers to closely collaborate with CoG

Kenya Association of Manufacturers held a meeting with the Council of Governors led by its Chairman Governor Martin Wambora -Embu and Trade, Investment and Industrialization Chairperson Governor Charity Ngilu -Kitui.

The CoG explored widely on increasing amicable ways of close partnerships and business operations between the governors and KAM to empower communities.

Speaking during the meeting, Ngilu on her part reiterated on the need of KAM to closely work with the CoG and view county governments as manufacturing destinations to foster employment opportunities, improve livelihoods and uplift the economy.

She lauded President Uhuru’s Big 4 Agenda on manufacturing adding the it can continue being actualized using the locally available resources in the counties through close ties between the National Government, County Governments and the private sector.
