Kitui: Munyuni parents want head teacher transfered after poor results

On Tuesday, May 18th Munyuni parents want head teacher in charge of munyuni primary school, kiangini sub location in voo/kyamatu transfered after posting poor results in just concluded KCPE.

The parents found their way in to the school compound on Tuesday morning at 9am, after which they stormed the classes halting learning process.

They alleged the headteacher was mismanaging the school. A nursery teacher is said to have been forced to teach upper class while a class 8 leaver leave is teaching nursery class.

According to the parents, the school performed poorly, generally recording a very low mean mark.

One of the parents told KituiOnline that the top pupil scored 290/500.

They have urged ministry of education to come in save them by transferring the head teacher.
