Mukaa boys closed indefinitely after fire incidence


Mukaa boys has been closed has been closed indefinitely following student unrest which was witnessed on Saturday and Sunday.

Makueni County Police Commander Joseph Ole Naipeyan and security team advised the school management to close the school for proper investigations to be conducted.

Parents have confirmed to have been notified to facilitate their their sons with bus fares, this is to enable them return home.

“We’ve already be told to send our sons bus fare to come back home ” one of the parent disclosed to KituiOnline

12 students have been arrested for allegedly being behind the arson in the school. The lot was arrested yesterday and locked up at Salama police station.

On Saturday night a huge fire razed one of the dormitories in the school which housed over 100 form two students.
On Sunday night again another dorm was torched but by good luck the fire was contained.

Among the 12 six are form three’s, four form two’s and two form ones.
The students are currently being questioned in a bid to shed light on the reason behind the recurring  fires in the school.
