The Kitui business community has been negatively affected by the ongoing Kinatwa sacco and prestige Wrangles.
Other matatu operators, boda boda, taxis have lost businesses as well as shop operators among others around the Kitui bus stage.
According to Kitui chamber of Commerce chairman, Duncan Singi the Wrangles between the saccos should be solved amicably following the law.
He further urged county and national government to take charge and protect the business fraternity.
“Continuous use of teargas has forced different businesses to close down for more than two days. Health wise teargas is not good” said Singi.
He added that the county commissioner as the head of security should take charge of the situation and ensure that the law is followed.
