Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu today said the opening of Museve Shrine in Kitui Central will strengthen faith and bring together the people of Kitui stating they will be having regular opportunities of visiting the shrine and praying for their needs and the needs of Kitui and Kenya.
Noting that the shrine is located at a scenic area of Central Kitui, the Governor said the shrine was open for visitations to enhance spiritual guidance and counselling, confession and to offer special prayers for the country.
“This shrine will be the new Bethlehem and Jerusalem that will attract all persons, it is actually a new place for attraction and a reality today”. She said.
The consecration of the shrine comes at a time when the President is set to visit Kitui County next week in a development tour set to open and be visit projects that will go a long way in changing the lives of Kitui people.
